Telephone

We do not accept incoming calls for juveniles. As soon as possible, upon intake, a juvenile is allowed to make their first initial phone call to their parents/guardian. All other phone calls are to be made during free time. Phone calls are limited to 10 minutes. Parents/guardians and grandparents are the only approved regular telephone contact. Juveniles can earn more phone calls per week as they advance in the level system. Juveniles are allowed to contact their DJO, service coordinators and attorneys as requested.

Mail

All mail is subject to search to protect safety and security of the facility. We encourage the residents to correspond with their families as much as possible. The detention center will provide postage as earned by juvenile’s level. For example, level 3 = 3 stamps per week. Please feel free to send additional stamps for your child to use, if warranted.
