St. Francois County participates each year in the Annual Bid Process. According to Missouri laws 50.760 the procedure for bids are defined; The Annual bid is published once per week for three consecutive weeks giving vendors the opportunity to participate in said bid. Annual Bid opening is determined by the Commission on the first Monday in March, or on such other day and date the commission may fix between the first Monday of March and the first Saturday after the second Monday in March. This process is to provide competitive bidding for office supplies, services, food items, cleaning items etc., and various mechanical items needed by the Road & Bridge Dept. and the Sheriff’s Dept. All county offices are encouraged to participate in the Annual Bid Process. A complete list of bids that were “let out for bid” and the awarded bids are available to view.
